The commission
The brief was specific: illustrate the Wisdom Tree for Luma’s children’s publishing project. This was an illustration commission, not a complete identity or website design.
The scene needed warmth, wonder and enough visual detail to explore without losing its gentle atmosphere. Six hanging lanterns belong to the tree’s visual world; individual lantern and environmental elements were also developed as supporting artwork.
The finished illustration brings those pieces into one place, from the glowing branches to the setting around them.
